Standing firmly on only one leg, Patasola is a vengeful spirit found in the Columbian jungles. She is a fierce protector of the land she lives on and targets loggers, woodsmen and anyone else who threatens the earth she has sworn to defend.

Some of the tamer reports of Patasola’s disruptive tactics include blocking off paths loggers are using, distracting hunting dogs and even tampering with equipment. However, the more extreme include leading men to their deaths in a terribly gruesome fashion. Because it isn’t enough for her to just kill a wayward woodsman. Patasola has a taste for blood and will drink her victim dry. And, if she’s particularly famished (or maybe just wants to send a message to his co-workers and friends), she’ll also eat some of her prey’s flesh too.

If you’re wondering what to look for while searching the forests and jungles for Patasola, she appears as a thin, young woman with only one leg - the other appears to have been severed at some point, perhaps by a woodsman’s axe or more recently a logger’s chainsaw. We do not know for sure how she lost this leg but it does not hold her back in the slightest. Some survivors have also claimed that she could shapeshift - transforming from a young beauty to a frightful beast with fangs and bulging eyes.

Whatever form she takes when she appears to you, we recommend that you make it quite clear that you do not wish to harm her woods in any way. And certainly make sure she doesn’t find you with an axe in your hand.
