November Chronicles

The Rift Site stands quiet, its battlegrounds settled under a shroud of stillness. Yet, the realm endures. From the shadows of the ruins, the Grimbald rally their strength, while the Zerrofel move with silent cunning to seize what remains.

With the Rift fractured, Mana has become the lifeblood which all in the realm seek. Champions, use what you have wisely, for every drop of Mana matters.

League Rules - November 2025

Grimbald: +20
Zerrofel: +20

Starting Mana: +180
Mana Per Turn: +0
Mana Minimum: +7
Mana Maximum: +200

Menagerie Spotlight - Gurt Worm

Classification: Mythical Beasts & Cryptids

Temporal Range: Early 20th century (maybe older)

Geographic Range: Shervage Wood, Quantock Hills, Somerset

Diet: Ponies, livestock, the odd sausage roll.

Horde: English

They say a dragon once dwelled in Shervage Wood - a gurt one. Big enough to pass for landscape, greedy enough to gorge on cattle until the villagers struck back. The endings vary: some speak of a crone’s trick, others of a woodcutter and a fatal lunch. One tale even adds cider and a sausage roll.

A 1534 carving at Crowcombe shows a serpent with a face in its belly, fought by two desperate men - most claim it’s the Worm itself. Older dragons haunt Somerset’s records, but this is the one that lingers.

Locals still warn against camping among the trees. And if you find a fallen trunk too smooth, too bare of moss - best not stop there for lunch.

Decks to try out this month

North American - This horde is a great one to spice up your gameplay. The aim is to keep yourself losing for as long as possible so your Salem Witches can boost your North American cards. We like to keep Mercy Brown in hand and play Blood Vials, but our Discord community has also persuaded us to include cards such as Yeti for an extra boost. Give it a go!

Yokai - Okay, this is an OG horde, but it’s still tons of fun to play. It demands focus on where and when your opponent is playing their cards, so you’ll pick up a few strategy lessons along the way. Keep things simple and concentrate on tracking one of your opponent’s cards at a time. Anticipate correctly, and you’ll reap the rewards. We promise - it’s fun.

Community

As we mentioned last week, new content for Eerie Worlds has drawn to a close - but the realm still awaits your exploration. There are stories to uncover, battles to fight, and a world to enjoy for as long as you wish.

We’re deeply grateful to the community that helped shape this world and breathed life into its legends. And while the updates have ended, the conversation continues.
