Balance Patch: The Fabled

A fresh balance patch comes your way as a new week dawns. This time focusing on Fabled cards - the legendary leaders who command armies across the realm.

We've heard your feedback: some Fabled cards needed a lift to stay competitive, while others were overshadowing the battlefield. This update gives key buffs to those falling behind and carefully tunes down a few that were overperforming.

Read on to discover the full list of changes:

Beast of Gévaudan

New: On Draw, for each time you've played this card, your Wild Beasts in hand gain +20 Attack until played.
Notes: More focused buff with a doubled Attack bonus (+20 vs +10), boosting Wild Beast-heavy decks significantly.

El Sombrerón

New: On Draw, gain +10 Attack/Turn this turn for each Latin American card played.
Notes: Attack/Turn bonus doubled (+10 vs +5), giving a stronger immediate impact.

Bloody Mary

New: On Draw, for each prior play of this card, it gains +25 Attack permanently.
Notes: Slight buff (+25 vs +20), giving better scaling..

Anansi

New: If your deck has 5+ West African cards, gain +30 Attack/Turn this turn per completed turn.
Notes: Horde deck requirement adds depth, with a 2.5x stronger reward (+30 vs +12) for West African builds.

Mami Wata

New: On Draw, a random other Rivin card in hand gains +30 Attack until played and, for every turn completed this game, costs -1 Mana until played.
Notes: Combines mana discount with an attack boost, making her a stronger support option.

Manananggal

New: On Draw, your Southeast Asian cards in hand gain +10 Attack this turn, and for every card in your hand with 6 Base Mana or lower, this card gains +15 Attack permanently.
Notes: Now limited to Southeast Asian cards for the draw buff (was all cards), and the permanent bonus now only triggers off lower-cost cards (6 Mana vs 7) - slightly reduced flexibility and tighter deck constraints.

Bakunawa

New: On Draw, your Southeast Asian cards in hand gain +10 Attack this turn, and for every card in your hand with 7 Base Mana or higher, this card gains +10 Attack permanently.
Notes: Attack buff now affects only Southeast Asian cards (was all), and the trigger for permanent bonus now requires higher-cost cards (7 Mana vs 6) - slightly reduced flexibility and tighter deck constraints.

Kuchisake-onna

New: On Draw, all Common/Rare Yōkai gain +32 Attack until played.
Notes: Flat +7 Attack buff over original, making Yōkai more threatening.

Resurrection Mary

New: On Draw, per non-Zerrofel card in hand, opponent loses -1 Mana/Turn; per Zerrofel, gain +1 Mana/Turn this turn.
Notes: Adds a self-buff to existing mana drain.

Marie Laveau

New: On Draw, all Wretched Mortals gain +12 Attack permanently. Notes: Effect now applies to all rarities, not just Common - Epic. Making deck-building simpler and more flexible.
