Greetings, Champions.
Today we’re diving into the Latin American, French, and Germanic Hordes to make a few balance tweaks to some of their more dominant cards.
These changes are designed to take the edge off while keeping their playstyle intact - just with a bit more breathing room for your opponents.
Full details and insights below!
Latin American
Pincoya
Pincoya’s been a staple in top Truce decks, offering powerful buffs and widespread debuffs. We’re tweaking it to target 3 random cards in both hands - still strong, but now with a bit more room for counterplay.
New Ability: On Play, 3 random cards in your opponent’s hand lose -15 Attack this turn, and 3 random cards in your hand gain +15 Attack this turn.
Germanic
These cards shine in the right build and make for fun deck crafting, but they’ve been outpacing other Hordes - so we’re making a few balance tweaks.
Fanggen
Fanggen’s had a tweak! As more Fabled cards enter the game, we’ve trimmed its buff to 2 cards. Still strong against stacked Fabled decks, but more balanced for everyday brawls.
New Ability: On Return, for every Fabled card your opponent has played this game, 2 random Fabled cards in your deck gain +8 Attack until played.
Irrlicht
New Ability: On Return, for every Common card your opponent has played this game, 5 random Common cards in your deck gain +5 Attack until played.
Klagmuhme
New Ability: On Return, for every Rare card your opponent has played this game, 4 random Rare cards in your deck gain +4 Attack until played.
Feuermann
New Ability: On Return, for every Epic card your opponent has played this game, 3 random Epic cards in your deck gain +3 Attack until played.
French
Guivre
This powerhouse card can be tough to deal with, so we’re splitting its ability into two parts. It’ll keep its strength and role in top decks, but now gives opponents a bit more room to respond.
New Ability: On Play, your opponent’s cards in hand lose -25 Attack this turn. On Return, if played in the right slot, the card opposite -25 Attack until played.
